Church of S. Petronio in Bologna. The tope part was originally supposed to be decorated with marble like the bottom of it, but they ran out of funds and never finished. Posted by Hello

Where they had to stop building the Church of S. Petronio due to either lack of funds or the building of the University of Bologna (the oldest university in Italy, Padova is the second oldest) next door.  Posted by Hello

a picture of the towers that I found on the internet to put here since I didn't like the pictures I took of them. In this picture (unlike in my picture) you can seen all of the Torre degli Asinelli (the taller one). We climbed to the top of that one. Posted by Hello

I tried to take a picture of La Torre degli Asinelli and the smaller tower next to it (which is tilted ten feet to the side and because of that no one is allowed up. It was once taller, but a hundred feet or so of it was taken down in the 1600s because it was tilted so much), but it was I couldn't get all of the Torre degli Asinelli in without standing in the street and getting hit by on-coming traffic so this is the best I was able to take. Posted by Hello

Piazza dei Signori, Vicenza. Originally I didn't like the fact that the man on the bike got in the way of the pictures, but now I like him there - it adds to the Italy feel since a lot of people here use bikes as their primary means of transportation (although not enough people since there are still problems with smog) Posted by Hello

The Basilica di Paladio, which in reality is not a basilica at all, but rather originally the legal building of the city of Vicenza. Now there are shops along the bottom, but there may still be government things inside (I don't know). Posted by Hello

In Piazza dei Signori in Vicenza. Notice the statue of the winged lion on the left. It's the symbol of Venice and all the cities that were part of the kingdom of Venice had (and probably still have) a statue like this in them (we have one in our Piazza dei Signori in Padova). Posted by Hello
